April 2009 - Eurocktail pictures
The April 2009 Eurococktail, organized by various European Chambers in Dallas took place at the new upscale Condo Complex, the AZURE.
Warm Texas evening sun, a spectacular view from the tallest condominium residence tower in Uptown Dallas, delicious deserts and more than 100 people from all over Europe - what more can you expect from an after work event?
The Euro Cocktail on April 1st, 2009, took place on the 17th floor of Azure, the 31-story high-rise designed by Vancouver-based James KM Cheng Architects Inc. The event was a success, not only because of the great people but also because of its unique location. “Everybody was impressed by the European and modern style of the building”, says Traute Malhotra, Director of the German American Chamber of Commerce North Texas Chapter.
The 375-foot tower is highlighted by a striking blue light that illuminates the building facade. It has 156 luxury homes, unparalleled views of the Dallas skyline, a junior Olympic swimming pool, a private 18-seat film theater and landscaped podium gardens. Host and owner of Azure, J. Gabriel Barbier-Mueller, and his wife Ann invited members of the GACC North Texas Chapter & Co-Sponsoring Organizations, British American Business Council, Finnish American Business Guild, French-American Chamber of Commerce Dallas/Fort Worth, Italy America Chamber of Commerce of Texas, and Swedish American Chamber of Commerce to make new business contacts and exchange corporate literature and business cards.
