The botanical Garden in Dallas, the Dallas Arboretum, located at the White Rock Lake is hosting the Cool Thursdays Events every Thursday starting
May 1st through July 31st, 2008
Enjoy different music events and bands on the outdoor stage with a relaxing picnic, overlooking the White Rock Lake during a beautiful summer evening.

I'm not sure what the Cool Thursdays has to do with German-Americans....but I guess it is a nice place to get together
