German International School opens in August 2008 in Coppell, Texas

General information:

The German International School is a co-educational day school, enrolling students from pre-K to Kindergarten (18 month until 5 years).

The school's founders included members of the expatriate community in Dallas, interested public and educational officials, and international business persons, all of whom believed that the Dallas/Fort Worth area required an international school in order to develop its potential as a cultural and commercial centre. The school is operated by a 501 (C) 3 non profit, incorporated in Texas. Operational and policy matters are addressed by the schools Chief Operating Officers & School Board.

The German International School Dallas seeks to provide a high quality, balanced educational program in English and German for children of internationally-minded families. We offer a dynamic environment where each student is challenged and supported to become a dedicated learner for life and a contributing member of the local and global community.
